ESOL – Me and my family – beginners

If English is not your first language then join this course and develop your English speaking and listening skills. You will learn new words and phrases so that you are more confident talking to others. You will be in a small and friendly class and will have lots of opportunities to practise in English.

The centre may be open on Saturdays and evenings during term times and peak enrolment times. Please call to check.
There is a free car park and secure bicycle facilities at this centre. The centre is located in the centre of Cottingham, approximately 8 minutes walk from Cottingham railway station and 3 minutes walk from the closest bus stop.

Course Eligibility: If you are a new learner you will need to meet with one of our team who will talk to you about the course and help you to get started. They can also help you to understand how the course is funded (if you are on benefits or a low wage then there is likely to be no cost to you).

If you have already attended one of our classes your tutor will advise you on the areas you need to work on and practise.
