There are a wide range of English language courses available across levels. The English Language Advice Hub is undertaking vital research in Bradford District through English language baseline needs assessments and focus groups to find out the main barriers to accessing ESOL provision and progression. The Council and college offer English language classes for all abilities along with conversational English classes which are free.

There are a range of providers across Hull, offering English language classes for all abilities along with conversational clubs and some classes are free of charge.

Kirklees has college courses, community classes, women only classes, private language schools, conversation groups and free classes.

There are a wide range of providers across Leeds, offering a great selection of English language classes for all abilities. Some providers offer women only classes, others allow children in the class, or provide childcare services. There are some classes available at the weekend and some classes are free of charge.

There is one provider in North East Lincs that offers English language classes for all abilities.

Sheffield has many opportunities for ESOL learners. There are formal classes, conversation groups, free classes, women only classes, classes for asylum seekers and refugees, and these are located all over the city. There are specific classes for IELTS and academic English too.
