We’re pleased to be offering a wide range of short and residential adult learning courses at Northern College for Adults, starting across April and May. These programmes support workforce wellbeing, inclusive practice, counselling skills, and positive community impact, and are ideal for staff, volunteers, carers, and the people you support.

- Stress Awareness (Level 1) – 7 May
- Mental Health & Wellbeing – Introduction – 7 May
- Alcohol Awareness (Level 1) – 11 May
- Counselling Skills (Level 3) – Starts 15 May
- Mental Health and Wellbeing – Introduction – 16 May
- Dementia Care – Introduction – 19 May
- Autism Awareness (Level 3) – 20 May
- Counselling Concepts (Level 2) – 20 May
- Developing Counselling and Helping Skills – Introduction – 20 May
Funding & Delivery
- Simple funding available – many adults may be eligible for full funding
- Delivered by experienced tutors in a supportive adult‑learning environment
- Suitable for workforce development, volunteers, parents, carers, and community members
Funding may be available for eligible adults who earn under:
- £24,570 – South Yorkshire
- £25,750 – West Yorkshire
Funding is subject to individual circumstances.
