ESOL Study Skills

This 10-hour short course will focus on developing important study skills , reflect ing on your current study habits and develop ing new strategies for becoming a better language learner. We will discuss what makes a good language learner and look at ideas to become one. You will have an introduction to reading and listening techniques. You will also learn different ways to record new vocabulary. We will also discuss useful apps and resources that you can use to improve your English on your own. Open to students from Entry 1 to Entry 3. This course can lead to further formal study and you will be signposted to ESOL providers.
