This course will enable learners to gain the skills, knowledge and qualities required to be an effective volunteer. Learners will understand how to identify and prepare for local volunteering opportunities. Course content includes exploring the role of the volunteer, the development of key skills. This includes good interpersonal skills, effective communication, assertiveness, time and
