Refugee Integration Strategy Consultation

A message from Liz Maddocks at Migration Yorkshire. Please note that responses are particularly encouraged from people with lived experience.

Migration Yorkshire is currently in the process of developing a new Refugee Integration Strategy for Yorkshire and Humber and we would like you to be part of the consultation process. This is a chance to build on existing good practice and establish refugee integration as a priority across the region.

Following a number of strategy workshops, the consultation process now includes an online survey, which you can find here: https://surveys.leeds.gov.uk/s/JKQXKW/

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete, and we appreciate your views and involvement. Your participation will help make the strategy more inclusive and collaborative. You are invited to complete the survey even if you have participated in the consultation workshops.

To complete the survey, please click on the link provided above and follow the on-screen instructions. If you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to contact my colleague, Michael:  Michael.crowe@migrationyorkshire.org.uk , who will be happy to answer any queries you might have.

Please also feel free to share this information and the link to the survey to any organisations and individuals you are aware of whose views on, or experience of, refugee integration, will benefit the strategy development.

Finally, please note we are particularly keen for people with lived experience, including refugees, asylum seekers, other with refugee or asylum-seeking background, to contribute their views. The survey is also available in four languages apart from English, namely Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish Sorani and Tigrinya, with all questionnaires available through the link above. We would appreciate if you could signpost and encourage service users to complete the questionnaire.
