The main community languages spoken are Polish, Latvian, Arabic, Bengali, Kurdish, Russian, Persian/Farsi and Chinese.

North East Lincolnshire refugees and asylum seekers are supported by Refugee Council as well as other community groups. The council offers a Digital Buddie programme for adults.
