Fly with Me Event 20th August 2022

Fly With Me, 20^th August, to mark one year on from the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban. You can encourage your learners and groups to get involved by making their own kite or indeed creating their own event. There’s a free pack of kite making instructions and materials in Arabic, Dari, English, French, Pashto, and Ukrainian – for families, friends, communities all to take part! Fly with Me, an epic kite flying festival in solidarity with the people of Afghanistan, full of Afghan kite-flying, storytelling, music, poetry, and dance! Fly With Me has been created by Good Chance Theatre, following the international traveling festival of welcome and hope, The Walk with Little Amal and multi-award winning international play The Jungle.
