About this class
One critical barrier to being able to settle and integrate in a new area is being able to communicate in English, speak to neighbours, make friends and develop local networks outside of those that speak your own language – ‘This way for English’ aims to address this. This Way 4 English will: Assess English language development needs Identify other social and personal support needs Refer/signpost to appropriate support Highlight gaps and barriers and seek funding to address these

This Way for English offers: Independent ESOL assessments and links with a range of providers in Kirklees to find the best option for you. We provide a range of free ESOL online to help build your confidence and enable you to get online. Working in partnership we support the Meet Try Learn programme which is informal activities based in the libraries, delivered alongside our ESOL assessments
