ESOL – Social Conversation

This is a course for speakers of other languages (ESOL) to improve confidence and develop skills in communicating in social situations. It is open to learners from Entry 1 to Entry 3 level. The language covered will include: greeting formally and informally, making small talk with family, friends, neighbours, talking about feelings and emotions, giving opinions, agreeing and disagreeing and responding to a variety of questions. It focuses primarily on speaking and listening skills but will include some literacy development.
