ESOL – Social Conversation/ Citizenship

This is an English course for speakers of other languages (ESOL) to improve confidence and develop skills in communicating in social situations. It is open to learners from Entry to Entry 3 level. In this module you will learn how to interact with other people in social situations and participate in casual conversation. You will learn how to talk about feelings and emotions and also how to offer an opinion. You may also develop skills in agreeing and disagreeing politely as well as how to answer a range of questions. At the end of your course your tutor will discuss your next steps with you, whether that be further developing your English language skills or you feel you require support in another area.
