If English is not your first language, but you already have some basic language skills, then joining this course will help you to improve your English speaking and listening skills. You will learn new words and phrases so that you are more confident talking to people about your general health, fitness and diet and know who to contact for health advice. You will be in a small and friendly class and will have lots of opportunities to practise speaking in and listening to English as well as doing some very simple reading and writing exercises.

Course Eligibility:
If you are a new learner you will need to meet with one of our team who will talk to you about the course and help you to get started. They can also help you to understand how the course is funded (if you are on benefits or a low wage then there is likely to be no cost to you).
If you have already attended one of our classes your tutor will advise you on the areas you need to work on and practise.
