ESOL Entry 2 English at Work

This is an English course for speakers of other languages (ESOL). The course aims to help learners gain confidence and develop language skills for use in work situations. Open to learners who are Entry 1 to Entry 3 level, learners will learn the vocabulary for and be able to talk about acceptable and unacceptable behaviour in the workplace; how to follow and sequence instructions; use appropriate greetings and conduct conversations with colleagues; understand key employment documentation and processes such as pay slips, sick pay and annual leave; Learners may also learn how to stay safe at work. As well as learning the core vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking and listening skills, by working independently and in small groups with your tutor, you will also develop wider skills such as: ● Problem solving ● Team working ● Communication skills ● Study skills. ● appropriate vs inappropriate workplace language/conversations
