Our Level 2 CACHE certificate in introducing caring for children and young people is ideal for learners aged 19+. It covers essential topics across early years, children’s learning experience, child development, safeguarding, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles. Delivered in a supportive learning environment, the course equips learners with both theoretical knowledge and awareness of child welfare, preparing them for work with children or further early years qualifications.

Calderdale College

Calderdale College is a Further Education College in Halifax. We are passionate about giving everybody the opportunity to gain basic skills to either study further, secure an apprenticeship or find a job. Aimed at students who don’t speak English as their first language our ESOL courses give you the skills you need to succeed. Employers look for basic English skills and this course is your first step into a brighter future. We will help you decide your next steps and make sure you have everything you need to succeed. We work with local community projects such as Calderdale Valley of Sanctuary whose aim is to bring together organisations across Calderdale to create a network of places that asylum seekers and refugees know to be welcoming and understanding of their situation. We also provide many Wider Learning courses
