About this class
This is a maths course for ESOL students, and is designed to support you to develop your maths language skills to help you progress to an accredited course which may lead to a qualification. You will develop your maths skills alongside the English used for maths. Your tutor will work with you to understand what you are already familiar with and able to do. They will set learning targets and tasks for you to work towards achieving this, in lessons which are a mix of class teaching, discussion, team work and independent study. Your tutor will check your progress with you and give you feedback to help you continue and develop your knowledge and skills.
