Skills Connect Volunteer Pathway to Care
Wider Learning Opportunity
Are you a refugee and need help to find a volunteering or paid role in the
health and social care sector?
You’re invited to attend a free two day skills and career development programme (available to
Kirklees and Calderdale residents aged 19 or over). Travel costs covered and lunch and
supermarket vouchers provided.
Over the two days you will learn about a variety of careers available in the health and social
care sector, whilst learning employability skills and exploring your own individual transferable
skills. You will meet like-minded people, gain access to employers and receive coaching support to
help you choose the right career for you.
