  • This course will help you understand some of the key terminology for driving in the UK. It is designed for refugees and migrants to understand UK driving culture and some of the key rules for driving in the UK. It is delivered in simple English which is suitable for Entry Level 2 and above. It also includes 1-2-1 support from an employability advisor. This course can help prepare you for the driving theory test and make you more employable for the future
You will need to come for an initial Maths and English assessment before the course start date.
Your level of English must be Entry 2 and above (If you are not sure about your English level, contact us and we can help you)

  • Course Eligibility: This course is for refugees and migrants with an English level of E2 and above. If you are not sure of your English level contact RETAS who will be able to help you find out.
  • Days & Dates: Wednesday: 3hrs, exact time to be confirmed
    8th June 2022 to 6th July 2022
  • Cost: Free - This course is free to adults living in the Leeds Metropolitan District or Leeds City Region aged 19 and over by 31st August of the academic year. Receiving benefits or economically inactive, unemployed or on a low income (less than £19,300PA), resident in the UK for more than 3 years unless they are an asylum seeker or have refugee status
