Develop confidence to interact with others in English as you work towards a nationally recognised qualification. This FREE ESOL course teaches you skills to help you communicate verbally in English. It can support you in job interviews, social conversations, or in your studies. This ESOL level 1 speaking and listening course builds on skills you learnt at entry 3. Gain tools to help you in conversations and sharpen your listening skills. This is an English course for adults. It is aimed at speakers of other languages. ESOL classes are divided into three areas: reading, writing, and speaking & listening. If you’re helping others access ESOL courses in the UK, you’ve come to the right place.

Course Eligibility:
To enrol on a WEA course you must be aged 19 or over by the 31st August 2022.
Students who have not been resident in the UK/EU for the last 3 years are required to complete a Student Eligibility Form and provide appropriate evidence or a higher course fee will be payable. If you would like more information

Who can enrol on a WEA course?
WEA courses are open to all adults aged 19 or over who have lived in the UK for at least six months, regardless of their educational background or previous qualifications.
